The following list brings together some extremely powerful publications that cover the sciences, natural history, and conservation. Included in this wide range of books are those with publication dates in the 30s, 40s and 50s, as well as books published in the past five years. We know that students, scholars, and bibliophiles will be interested in these many volumes that are for the first time being offered for sale at very low prices.

We, Jack and Martha Carter, owners of Mimbres Publishing, are offering these books from our personal library. (For this reason our names are written on the first inside page of many of the books.) We recognize that it is time for us to relinquish these publications and pass them on to others to enjoy just as we have. This listing is just the beginning of what is available; we will continue to post our more than 1,200 books on this Web site in the days to come.

We here wish to notify our friends that the income from the sale of these used and almost new books will be divided so that 80 percent will go to the Native Plant Society of New Mexico,
[ Jack and Martha Carter Conservation Endowment Fund ] of the Native Plant Society of New Mexico. The remaining 20 percent will be used to maintain the Website, book handling, packing and shipping.
